Privacy Policy
Effective August 21, 2026
This policy explains what information Reliance Mechanical collects through relyonreliance.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the forms on it. It does not change the terms of any signed service agreement.
Information we collect
- Information you give us in a form. Name, phone number, email address, service address, property type (residential or commercial), company name and contact role on commercial requests, preferred appointment time, the service you need, and any notes you write. Commercial requests may include plans, photos, or scopes of work you choose to upload.
- Job applications. Name, email, phone, role applied for, years of experience, notes, and an optional résumé file. We do not ask for a Social Security number, bank details, or health information at the application stage.
- Maintenance plan enrollments. Contact details, service address, and the plan and equipment information you provide.
- Automatically collected website data. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and campaign parameters (for example utm_source, gclid, wbraid, gbraid, msclkid, fbclid) used to understand which ad or search brought you here. Analytics and advertising storage are off until you consent — see our Cookie Policy.
- Calls and texts. The phone number shown on this site is a tracking number that routes to our office line. Call metadata (number, time, duration, and the campaign it was attributed to) is recorded by our CRM/call-tracking provider. If you text us, the message content is stored in the same system.
- Chat. Our website chat assistant loads only after you open it. Your messages are processed by the chat vendor to generate replies.
Why we use it
- Respond to your request, schedule work, dispatch a technician, and follow up.
- Prepare estimates and communicate about jobs in progress.
- Evaluate job applications.
- Prevent spam and abuse of our forms and endpoints.
- Measure which marketing channels produce calls and form submissions.
- Send service updates, and — only if you separately opt in — marketing emails or texts.
- Keep business records and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and integrations
We share information with vendors that operate parts of this website and our office workflow. They receive only what they need to provide their service. As of the effective date above these include:
- Lovable — website hosting and delivery of our notification emails.
- Supabase — the database and file storage that hold form submissions and uploaded documents/résumés.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — our CRM, call tracking, and outbound email/SMS. It also runs a website tracking script that ties a visit to a later call or submission.
- Google — Google Analytics 4 for website measurement (subject to your cookie choice) and the Google Maps embed on our contact/location sections. Campaign click identifiers we capture may be used for Google Ads conversion measurement when you allow advertising cookies.
- ElevenLabs — the on-demand website chat widget.
We may also disclose information to our insurers, accountants, or attorneys, to comply with law or legal process, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
Because analytics, advertising, and CRM providers receive data as described above, we do not claim that we “never share” your information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on your state, sharing data with advertising or analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising can be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under state law — you can turn that off at any time using our cookie settings or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
How long we keep it
- Service requests, bookings, and job records: kept as long as needed to service the customer relationship and for our business, tax, warranty, and insurance records.
- Job applications and résumés: kept while the position is open and for a reasonable period afterward in case another role opens; removed sooner on request.
- Website analytics data: retained according to the retention setting in our analytics account.
- Anti-abuse records (hashed IP rate-limit counters): short-lived and not stored in plain text.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site, database access controls, private storage buckets for uploaded documents and résumés (accessed only through short-lived signed links), server side validation, honeypot and rate-limit protections on our form endpoints, and credentials stored as server-side secrets rather than in the website code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Text messaging (SMS) and your mobile number
When you give us your mobile number — on a form, through the chat/text widget, or by phone — you agree that Reliance Mechanical may text or call you about your request, including confirmations, scheduling, technician-on-the-way notices, and follow-up. Marketing texts require the separate, optional opt-in checkbox and are never a condition of service.
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help.
- Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- Your mobile number and message history are handled by the vendors that run our phone, messaging, and CRM systems only so those messages can be delivered and recorded — never for their own marketing, and never sold.
Full program details are in our SMS Terms.
Separately, we operate a voluntary, internal, non-marketing owner alert program: text alerts to the authorized owner of Reliance Mechanical about new service requests. An owner enrollment request can be submitted on our owner alerts page and is verified manually, and text delivery is not active yet. Once activated, those alerts are an operational use of information a customer already submitted — the name, callback number, issue description, and, where eligible, a photo attached to that request — so the owner can follow up personally. Owner enrollment details and the consent choice are kept for review and audit. Uploaded service photos are stored privately and are used only to service and follow up on the request they were submitted with; they are not used for advertising and are not sold. See the Owner Alerts Terms.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults arranging plumbing and related services or applying for work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at service@relyonreliance.com and we will delete it.
Your choices and state privacy rights
- Cookies and tracking: accept, reject, or change categories at any time through “Cookie settings” in our footer. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
- Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message.
- Marketing texts: reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
- Service-related messages about a request or scheduled job are not marketing and continue while your job is open.
Some U.S. states give residents rights to know what personal information a business holds about them, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale/sharing of personal information. We extend these requests to any U.S. resident who asks, regardless of state.
To make a request, email service@relyonreliance.com or call (228) 819-7473 with the words “privacy request,” tell us what you want, and give us the phone number or email you used so we can find your records. We will verify your identity by matching the contact details on file — we may ask for one additional piece of information rather than more sensitive data. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we deny a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
