Questions, answered.

  • Usually yes. We fish wire through walls and ceilings with minimal cuts — typically a single drywall patch the size of an outlet box. We'll show you the path before we start.
  • Current code requires GFCI protection in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, exterior outlets, and within 6 feet of any sink. We can upgrade existing outlets without rewiring the whole circuit in most cases.
  • Single-strand aluminum branch wiring (1965–1973) has a known history of overheating at connections. The fix is COPALUM crimps, AlumiConn connectors, or partial/full rewire — we'll inspect and recommend the right level of remediation.
  • Partial rewires target specific high-risk areas (kitchens, bathrooms, master bedroom). Full rewires replace all branch circuits and usually include a panel upgrade. We'll quote both options if your home is a candidate.
